The Public Works Project is now restoring historic homes in the Old City of Sana’a and doing conservation work by engaging residents in the project under the “cash for work” scheme.
The Public Works Project in partnership with the International Red Cross implemented recently a series of training sessions on production of liquid chlorine from food salt. 200 trainees participated in the training sessions, who include engineers, workers and specialists working in the water sector.
PWP has been working to create short-term work opportunities to help them live a life of dignity and stability.
In an on-going effort, PWP continues to strive to achieve development and to provide priority essential services most-needed by the people.

PWP launched last Saturday a training session on public participation using PRA at its headquarters in Sana’a. 50 female social workers and researchers representing various governorates of the country are participating in this training.
